Diwali, also known as ‘Dipavali’ a Hindu festival was celebrated this year 2023, on November 12, Sunday, with great pomp and enthusiasm country wide. Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and victory of good over evil.
Maa Kali puja also coincided with the auspicious Diwali celebrations at the clubhouse in the evening by 8.30 pm to 12 am. On that occasion clubhouse was decorated beautifully with light and pandal was set up inside the clubhouse for puja. Beautiful rangoli was drawn in front of puja premise. Idol of Maa Kali was set in the afternoon inside the nicely decorated pandal. Ladies group assembled for puja preparation by evening with the arrival of Pandit ji. Puja commenced at night followed by Pushpanjali , Arti and Havan continued till late night . The residents gathered in large numbers for seeking the blessing of Maa Kali. During puja children gathered at the park to burst crackers. Prasad and Bhog were distributed among the residents. The atmosphere was divine with the trumpet of traditional Dhol by the Dhaki. All sought the divine blessings of Goddess Kali.
