This year, Diwali was celebrated on October 24 , throughout the country on a large scale after the pandemic. On the eve of ‘Amabsya ‘ ‘ Maa Kali Puja ‘ was performed in the club house. The residents of AGV-1 organised the Puja collectively. The entire society was decorated with splendid lights. On this occasion club house was beautifully decorated with light and garlands. Beautiful Rangoli was made in front of the idol. The ladies took great efforts in performing the pooja. The pooja started late in the evening and went on till midnight. Bhandara and Prasada was distributed on a large scale .
The residents participated in pooja whole heartedly and enjoyed the food served in bhandara. The devotees assembled to seek the blessings of ‘Maa Kali ‘ and prayed for the well being of their family. The children burst firecrackers with their parents in the amphitheatre premises. It was a magnificent moment for all of us. Next morning devotees reached the club house to bid adieu to ‘Maa Kali ‘ for immersion after following proper rituals. These festivals mark the triumph of good over evil and aim to remove and destroy the evil powers of society and establishment of unity and humanity.
