The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at SDA. The program star-ted at sharp 11 am with the flag hoisting where in all the residents along with the MC members were present. It really presented a colourful scene which started with a welcome speech was by our President Meena Dhingra followed by creative performances by almost 18 children of our colony. Special thanks to our dear resident Setuma who always takes great pains in teaching and guiding the colony children. She had started the practice one month ahead and went to every child’s home according to their convenience. Hats off to the children and Setuma for making this program a huge success. Anita Cardoza sang a song along with the children. Another amazing performance was by Aarav Dhingra who played guitar with great confidence and the colony residents were all glued to their seats.
