On January 26, 2025, residents of Apex Athena Apartments came together to celebrate the 76th Republic Day in a vibrant display of patriotism and cultural pride. The event, held at Central Park, was a heartwarming reminder of our rich heritage and the fundamental rights and duties we cherish as Indians.
The celebrations kicked off at 10:00 AM, with families gathering to honour this significant day in our nation’s history. It was graced by the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Abhay Dubey, who served as the chief guests for the occasion. Mr. Abhay Dubey is a grade A officer in the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India and a social worker.
The flag was unfurled by the AOA president Sushant Yadav, setting a patriotic tone for the day’s festivities. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and enthusiasm, as residents of all ages participated in various activities designed to foster community spirit.
One of the highlights of the event was the array of cultural presentations by our young citizens. Talented children from Apex Athena showcased their skills through captivating dance performances, melodious singing, and expressive recitations. These presentations not only entertained but also instilled a sense of pride in our cultural heritage. Special thanks to AOA members and Athena Cultural Committeefor coordinating these performances and encouraging our youth to take part in such a meaningful way. The joy on the faces of the participants and the applause from the audience created an unforgettable atmosphere.
Following the celebrations, residents enjoyed a delightful high tea that fostered camaraderie among neighbours. It provided a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone to relax and connect after the formalities of the event.
The event was a testament to the strong community spirit at Apex Athena. Residents came together, bringing their families and friends to join in the festivities. From delicious snacks shared among neighbours to spirited conversations about our nation’s journey, it was a day filled with camaraderie and joy.
