Celebrating the 15th Year of Gurpurabh in Nirvana

The Nirvana community came together with devotion and enthusiasm for its 15th Gurpurab celebrations on November 30th at the RWA grounds. This special occa-sion marked the Prakash Divas of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, whose teachings of oneness, selfless service, and spirituality continue to inspire generations.

Residents, along with the Nirvana Sadh Sangat and contributors from the NIRVANA Courtyard Market, worked tirelessly to make the event a grand success. The festivities included the preparation and serving of Guru Ka Langar, which fed over 1,300 people—a heartwarming display of seva (selfless service). The main hall was filled with spiritual fervour as attendees participated in Naam Simran, meditating on the divine name.

The event was further supported by volunteers from Sangat pan Gurugram, students and the team from Bagiya – Sanshil Foundation, and Shri Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kendra, New Delhi, who contributed their time and efforts generously.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings were at the heart of the celebrations, emphasizing:

• Vand Shhako (Share & Consume): Sharing with others and helping those in need.

• Kirat Karo (Work Honestly): Earning an honest living with integrity.

• Naam Japo (Meditate on God’s Name): Cultivating spirituality to overcome personal vices.

This year’s celebration was a testament to the community’s unity and commitment to spreading the message of love, harmony, and oneness, as taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
