In the true spirit of the festive season, Christmas is now a joyous celebration in India, mirroring the warmth and exuberance of Diwali. Tis the season of kids’ carnivals, Xmas markets, mingling, exchanging gifts, holiday revelry, feelgood Netflix Xmas flicks, hot cocoa, plum cakes and much more.
Hamletians too rejoice and celebrate Christmas in the true spirit every year. This year, the Christmas Carnival on Monday, 25 December 2023 at the Clubhouse and adjoining lawns brought much joy to the young and old.
The event was a resounding success, creating a festive atmosphere filled with laughter, and holiday spirit for our young ones. The Carnival served as a wonderful platform for community engagement. Families came together to celebrate the holidays, fostering a sense of togetherness and unity.
The Clubhouse and its lawns were transformed into a festive land with colourful balloons and a Christmas tree, enchanting decorations and twinkling lights. The vibrant and cheerful ambience set the perfect backdrop for a magical Christmas celebration.
Kids had the chance to unleash their creativity through the Crafts Workshop; the hands-on activities allowed them to express themselves while embracing the spirit of the season. Children also had the incredible opportunity of enjoying the Santa Buggy Parade, meet Santa and receive small gifts. The excitement and wonder on their faces were truly heartwarming.
The Carnival featured entertaining performances, including festive music and dance routines. Little Hamletian performers captivated the audience, adding to the overall merriment of the event. Festive treats, and delicious snacks were available at the food stalls, ensuring that everyone enjoyed delicious bites while enjoying themselves in the festive atmosphere.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dedicated organizers, volunteers, and sponsors who contributed to the success of this event. Their hard work and commitment made the Christmas Carnival a memorable experience for everyone involved.
