On June 21, the Community Center in DLF Phase-2 buzzed with energy and enthusiasm during a vibrant celebration of International Yoga Day. The event began at 6.15 am with Manish Yadav, former State Secretary and State President, inspiring everyone with his presence. Highlights included performances by students from Chakarpur Government School and a moving musical yoga session by the Naari Shakti group, composed of ladies aged 70 to 85. Their participation reminded everyone that age is no barrier to staying active and healthy.
Around 200 people attended, enjoying refreshments and a free health and physiotherapy camp offering valuable health advice and treatments. Experienced yoga trainers, including Pallavi Sharma and Jyoti Wadhwa, along with their team of 30 instructors, guided participants through various yoga practices, making the day enjoyable and educational for all. This celebration, organized by Jyotsna Vipin Yadav & Team, in association with Aawaz Volunteers, Naari Shakti DLF 2, and Parshuram Sakha, beautifully embodied the mantra “djks ;ksx] jgks fujksx” (Do yoga, stay healthy), uniting everyone in the shared goal of promoting health and well-being. Appreciating International Yoga Day, this event truly highlighted the importance of yoga in fostering community and wellness.
