The Suncity Township proudly celebrated its third edition of the Suncity Olympics on August 15th, 2024, in honour of the 78th Independence Day. The festivities commenced at 8:30 AM at the Community Centre, where residents gathered to enjoy a day filled with excitement and camaraderie.
The event was graced by our special chief guest, Ramesh Chadha ji, who led the flag-hoisting ceremony, setting the tone for a day’s celebration. The morning began with a vibrant display of patriotism as the flag was raised, followed by a series of engaging activities.
Participants of all ages were thrilled to compete in various races, showcasing their enthusiasm and sporting spirit. The event catered to everyone, from children to adults, ensuring that each participant had a chance to shine and contribute to the festivities.
In addition to the races, attendees were treated to a delicious breakfast, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The event was meticulously organised, and the team’s efforts were evident in every detail.

Additionally, the estate manager, supervisors, and support staff, who volunteered their time on their holiday, played a crucial role in making the event a success. Their commitment and support are greatly appreciated.
