Independence Day is not just a date on the calendar; it is a day that resonates with the essence of our nations history & identity. In our tightly knit PCPH community, we commemorated this momentous occasion with fervour, unity, and a deep sense of patriotism.
The day began with decorated balloons reflecting our national flag colours a marchpast by the security guards. Our respected residents (Vinod Mitra in PH2 and Ankit Kuchhal, Anshu Gupta, Khajan Joshi Urmil Goyal in the sports field) hoisted the tricolours.
The sight of the flag against the morning sky filled our hearts with pride. Our national anthem echoed through the air soon after which, the event organised by the AOA commenced. Our society has a rich cultural diversity; Independence Day was the perfect occasion to celebrate it.
The cultural extravaganza featured children’s dance performances, patriotic songs & poetry.Wishtown United, our cricket team, was then felicitated for being the only team from India participating in the Last Man Standing league in Malaysia.
The event was a beautiful reminder of our unity in diversity. Snacks and sweets packet were distributed to end the celebration. The day left a lasting impact on us, reminding us that our freedom is a gift we must cherish celebrate together.
