Causing Pain to Elderly by Insulting Words & Arrogant Behaviour

Recently an elderly respected Senior Citizen (who has been ex President of the RWA) of C block faced a most ugly situation with his neighbor opposite his house who normally parked his two cars on the space, merely because the elderly gentleman requested his neighbor to treat the newly installed slabs over his rainwater drainage with care while parking. A task which had taken him over a year to get done by the municipal corporation should be appreciated. Sadly the request to his neighbor was met with a volley of insulting words and arrogant behavior, causing such humiliation as to bring tears to his eyes! Is this the way we behave with our neighbors and the elderly as to cause humiliation and pain. A bit of courtesy and understanding is all that is required in living peacefully. No doubt this distressing behavior is condem nable and an immediate apology is due. Contributed by Subashini Sood
