Baba Adangnath Talab
‘Baba Adangnath Talab’, a water body located in Sector B1, Vasant Kunj (next to Fortis Hospital) has recently been developed by DDA. This water body can be traced back to the time of Maharaja Prithviraj Singh Chauhan, the ruler of Delhi, in the 12th century AD. Remains of his Fort “Qila Rai Pithora” can be found in Sanjay Van where a wall of the Fort still exists.
Mega 8-Lane 5 km Tunnel Approved to Ease Traffic
It sounds fabulous to think of such a huge project connecting three major national highways in the capital starting from the Heart line of Vasant Kunj – Nelson Mandela Road to Shiv Shakti Chowk on NH48. With around 14 meters width, this will be one of the widest tunnels, and the first eight-lane Underground Pass.
New Open Air Gym in Sec A Pkt C
The residents of Vasant Kunj, Sec A have been greatly benefitted with the installation of the New Gym equipment in the DDA Park in Sec A, Pkt C by the DDA. The Gym has 15 ultra modern exercising equipments to meet the requirement of all age groups and covers an area of nearly 200 square meters.
Protest by Vasant Kunj Residents against Encroachment on Green Belt & Public Road by a Renowned Businessman
Residents of Sector D6 Vasant Kunj (Commonwealth Games Flats of Kaveri, Ganga, Yamuna apartment) held protest on Sun 11-DEC-2022 against the construction of a boundary wall on the road alongside green belts. Along with the wall construction, a bright yellow notice had also been painted, which mentioned that the entire land of approx. 30 bigha including Road and adjoining area belongs to a Business Man.
