On January 19t, the C Block (31) Residents’ Welfare Association held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Hanuman Mandir hard ground, attended by enthusiastic residents. The gathering began with a poignant two-minute silence, paying tribute to the departed members of the C Block community. The AGM proceeded with a comprehensive discussion on key issues affecting the residents, including the approval of the previous financial year’s accounts. Other pressing concerns addressed were the irregular supply of electricity, dirty water supply, accumulation of rainwater in the C-3 to C-4 lane, and the overall cleanliness of the block. The perennial problem of dog waste and the need for additional speed breakers were also raised. In a heartwarming gesture, the RWA C Block took the opportunity to honour its residents who had demonstrated selfless actions in support of the community. The founders of the RWA were also felicitated and presented with Smriti Chinh (Ashoka Emblems) as a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work. The AGM served as a vital platform for residents to engage with each other, share concerns, and work collectively towards finding solutions to enhance the overall quality of life in C Block.
