February saw lots of improvement efforts put in by the BOM.
The building repair and painting work has begun in towers 2 & 7.
The Automated Number Plate Reading (ANPR) – based vehicular entry – exit system was fully implemented. While the Resident Vehicle Management is completed, the Visitor Vehicle Management activity will begin from mid – March.
The upgrading of the existing CCTV cameras is underway. The CCTV room is also being enhanced, complete with LED panels for monitoring.
Four AC – based Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers are being installed. This is being done with Tata Power; once the system is fully installed, residents can use the Tata Power App to pay & use.
Jio is being added as an ISP with its services scheduled to be available from April. Residents can expect triple play services, i.e., internet + mobile + TV.
A DG Sync has been carried out to ensure we use our DGs efficiently. This efficient usage has a twofold benefit – (1) save money on lesser fuel consumption & (2) reduce the carbon footprint of AOH.
Finally, continuing with the facilities’ revamp project, the amphitheatre renovation work is in full swing. The swimming pool upgrade is in full swing too. The Senior Citizens’ Gazebo, the T4 & T8 Children’s Play Area and the Cards’ Room were reopened after their renovation.
