BSES & AAP volunteers conduct Subsidy camps!

Though the matter of subsidy has become very controversial but still to help the senior citizens, who are not very computer savvy, a camp was organized in the office of SBWS during Sept to help the residents, to register their requests for continuing the electricity subsidy. The scheme introduced by Delhi Govt a few years back was continuing without any registration. However, from this year, it has been made compulsory that if a consumer is interested in getting the subsidy, he/she will have to register on the portal. The process is quite simple. 65 residents availed the facility during the camp organized in the office of SBWS. Contributed by MK Gupta
