On 16th March (Saturday), in partnership with Kosmic Kingdom (a newly opened play area in M3M IFC, Sector 66, Gurugram) a Holi T-Shirt painting event was organised at Silver Oaks Community Center. Kids from various age groups, spanning from 1.5 years to 12 years old, came together for a time of artistic fun. It was heartening to see some of the littlest ones dipping their tiny fingers into the paint for the very first time. The kids were provided with plain white T-shirts, vibrant colors, and brushes. They were supposed to create unique designs on the back of the T-shirt along with their name initials. The front of the T-shirt featured a cheerful “Happy Holi” print! Almost 50 kids joined, and using the rainbow of paints at their disposal turned those plain white T-shirts into colourful masterpieces. As their painting was completed and the brushes were laid to rest, the anticipation was clearly visible on their cheerful faces – all of them now eagerly awaiting the arrival of Holi to proudly wear their custom-designed T-shirts. Some parents claimed – “The countdown to Holi had never felt more exciting.” Such are the moments of pure joy.
