As we all know, the United Nations adopted 21 June as International Day of Yoga in 2014. It is celebrated the world over from 2015 onwards, to promote physical and mental wellbeing. The theme for this 10th edition was Yoga For Self And Society.
Yoga offers profound benefits for both individuals and society. Group yoga sessions foster social bonds and mutual support, thus contributing to a healthier, more peaceful, and connected society.
To promote holistic health, the Brahma Kumaris group organised a 21-day Rajyoga Meditation program, daily from 5 AM onwards in the serene and green environment of Boulevard. The Rajyoga Education System promotes holistic development, peace, health and happiness.
The Rajyoga Education System has become inevitable and indispensable in the current scenario of life where various issues related to job, studies, social relations etc. cause immense stresses.
Need of the hour is, how to control our thoughts, which influence and govern our daily lives. Daily positive and powerful thoughts, before physical exercise, harmonise the physiological system as a whole.
Our day began with positive and powerful thoughts, spreading the vibrations of peace and happiness for all the souls in the world and to the five elements of nature. Powerful meditation was followed by different physical exercises and pranayama.
It was a rejuvenating experience for all of us. Our bodies and souls were charged for the whole day.
