The grand finale of the Navratri celebrations in Eldeco Utopia Complex was marked by Dashami, which coincided with the festival of Dussehra. The residents gathered to witness the effigy burning ceremony.
Utopian children put up a show “Ramayan Musical,” depicting the triumph of good over evil. Adhyaan played Lord Ram, Shourya was Laxman, Manvi was Sita, and Sarveshwar played Hanuman. The other kids who participated were Vijiya, Aveer, Yuvaan, Satvik, Ashvath, Keya, Saisha, Myra and Aarvi. The cheers and applause reverberated as the effigy of Ravana went up in flames.
Following the Dashami celebrations, the community continued the festive spirit with a vibrant Diwali mela. Stalls offering a variety of delicacies, handicrafts, and entertainment dotted the complex, providing a delightful experience for all.
To cater to the needs of residents in towers located close to the venue of the Diwali Mela, the organising team made special provisions. Residents with emergency work in the area could utilize the clubhouse boardroom for their urgent tasks. Senior citizens facing difficulties were provided with the facility to contact the Estate Manager (EM) to arrange access to clubhouse rooms based on availability, ensuring their comfort during the festivities.
Additionally, ear defenders were made available at the AURA office, which could have been obtained from the EM to protect senior citizens from excessive noise if needed. These thoughtful arrangements prioritize the well-being and convenience of residents, allowing them to enjoy the Diwali Mela while addressing their specific concerns.
The week-long Navratri celebrations at Eldeco Utopia showcased the deep-rooted traditions, spiritual devotion, and joyous festivities that define this auspicious time.
May the divine blessings of Goddess Durga shower upon all!
