A midst all other festivities in the months of Oct-Nov, Halloween – Trick-or-treats was celebrated in Lotus Boulevard by all the kids with super gusto.
Children feel that this is one time they are the real players… And why not? They get to dress up in their favourite spooky characters, they can roam around with friends and the best part is they get so many sweet treats.
For those who don’t know, Halloween is primarily celebrated in western countries when children dress up as witches, wizards and other spooky characters and play “Trick or treat” with neighbours. Here, children go to neighbouring houses, ring the bell and ask for treats (chocolates) and if the owner does not have treats ready they have to endure a trick from kids such as water splash, spooky sounds and so on. All an all a time to be sporty and giving.
Lotus Boulevard kids were not far behind. More than 400 kids from different towers dressed up as witch, Superman, Batman, Jungle Queen, Dracula, Ghost, Casper etc and went Trick-or-treating to different acquaintances collecting goodies in their baskets.
The best part was adults showed a great level of participation by inviting kids on watsapp groups ready with some delicious goodies.
Children went around in group of 5 or 10 spreading friendly howls and happiness all around the society. Each one of them looked super cute in their get up. Hope we keep up this spirit of sportiness and giving forever.
