In the last week of November, when I stepped into the -1-level basement, I was greeted by a cloud of dust. When the dhuan chhata, I realised it was the housekeeping staff who were vigorously sweeping the basement floor.
I doubt I’ve seen the basement being cleaned in my ~8 years of staying at AOH. So, I stood transfixed. After sweeping, the housekeeping folks were sprinkling water to make the remaining dust wash away.
This was a much, much-needed activity. Whenever my puppy would step into the basement, she would return with black paws & a black snout! And, as we all know, dust causes a ton of problems. After the completion of -1, -2 is being tackled. Way to go Housekeeping & Facility teams! You made the dust bite the dust!! by Priya Parul Singh.
