A Gala Birthday Bash was organised on 27 Nov at the Senior Citizens Forum chaired by Harjit Kaur Bawa which was celebrating a score of Birthdays of Senior Citizen Residents of our colony. There were over 3 scores plus of Senior Citizens who had come for the Celebrations. Before the cake cutting, Chander Sehdev gave a presentation of signature dance steps on a Bollywood number sending the House Full crowd into raptures Brig Ghai did the honours of cutting the Cake being the Senior most in age present.
The arrangements were perfect with a liberal lay out of a high Tea. Veena Khanna President DCWA also joined the humongous gathering despite her busy schedule. The Birthday Boys and Girls were presented Roses. The impeccable arrangements were made by SCF Sec Kuldeep Singh Rekhi whose Birthday also fell in the month of Nov.
The event was celebrated with gusto and fervor amongst the Seniors. Worthwhile to mention here, since the advent of Ms Bawa a lot of vibrancy has come in the SCF. On the heels of the Musical Extravaganza now this Birthday Bash Gala is definitely a feather in her cap and will be remembered for a long time. We all await the functions by the SCF in the month of Dec with bated breath. Wishing Happiness and Health to our Senior Citizens.
