The Biodiversity Park, very close to our homes, has come up well. The vast area it covers has a variety of plants, green areas and long tracks along with gazebos.
The winding walking track that covers few kilometers is the latest destination for residents who wish for natural surroundings for a healthy body and mind. The upkeep and further development of the park will also depend on the interest by the residents to visit it regularly.
The Park sees a lot of crowd on weekends and the winter days saw families and individuals come here to soak in the warmth of the sun.
We have been tracking the process of the coming up and development of the park, and found an impressive result on our visit to the place last week. The growth of a variety of trees, the trimmed hedges along the walking path, the built-up elements… all provide an enjoyable time for each mindset. The entrance to the park is from two sides and can accommodate a large number of visitors.
The overall maintenance has improved and the washrooms’ upkeep has become better, though there is still a lot of scope for betterment.
Residents can send suggestions regarding the further improvement of the Biodiversity Park to the horticulture department of Noida Authority through their website, email or can simply tweet. “Concern departments are quick in response and the action is taken,” is the experience by some active residents who have done so.
More participation and visits by the residents will be of benefit for the maintenance of the Park.
