Finally after years of being locked in a dingy rusty room, the Club’s once happening Billiards Room finally saw the light of the day! Inaugurated on June 25, it opened to a freshly refurbished smart new ambience, the old two newly felted and polished tables and bright new, cues and balls on stand bye, gleamed under the brilliance of brand new overhead lights above, beckoned members and players once more to it’s hallowed ‘for men’s only game and space.. a space that had once reverberated every evening to the soft click of balls and cues, whilst eagle eyed onlookers around watched and followed in hushed silence and awe. Hopefully many youngsters and members will once again participate and enjoy this fine old traditional game of Billiards once again. The nominal booking charges will be through the club online. Chairperson Sports Col Chandra and his committee are to be congratulated in reviving and encouraging the game with its smart new ambience which was declared open by Club President V.Khanna, Councillor Anita Baisoya and Sandeep Baisoya, HGS Vippin Bhasin Col Chandra, Deepak Rai and Col Nagrani, RWA.
