March was that time of the year when Noida donned its most vibrant attire and celebrated the beauty of nature at the Noida Flower Show. Hosted by the Noida Floriculture Society (NFS) in association with Noida Authority, this annual event showcases the best of floral diversity, gardening techniques, and landscaping trends.
NFS also provides opportunities to its members for education and inspiration. It is a place where neighbours come together to share their passion for gardening, exchange ideas, and forge lasting friendships.
To embrace the spirit of green living and urban gardening, NFS conducted a Terrace and Balcony Garden Competition for Gurgaon, Noida & Greater Noida residents. This exciting event aimed to showcase creativity, ingenuity, and love for gardening while transforming our living spaces into vibrant green sanctuaries.
Judging criteria followed were – Creative use of space; Aesthetic appeal; Variety and health of plants; Sustainable gardening practices; Innovative design elements. Bibek Kumar (PH2) won the third prize in the Min Balcony category and received the award during the 2024 Noida Flower Show.
