Save Mother Earth is an initiative taken by an NGO working in association with IPCA to recycle plastic waste correctly and help improve our environment. Bhawana Lalwani, a resident of AGV-1 of B- tower started supporting this’ Save Mother Earth Mission’.
In our day-to-day life, we use different sorts of stuff and after using them we can segregate them for recycling. The main purpose of this organisation is to spread awareness among citizens.
Some of our friends are working voluntarily with this association to improve the environment. They collect all sorts of plastic waste as well as e-waste and use them in making benches, buckets, planters, etc.
We have to dispose of all the plastic waste in the right manner after using and segregating it from our household. Whenever we get things like an empty packet of groceries, chips, oil, biscuits, cold drinks bottles, water bottles, any kind of plastic empty jars, milk bags, bread bags, frozen food bags, containers, ketchup bottles, sanitary packets etc. – they need to be segregated daily. All these things are hazardous and should not reach the soil.
Every Saturday, the collection van visits the society for collecting plastic waste.
It is a wonderful mission and need everyone’s support to save our ‘Mother Earth’.
