A Grand Spiritual Procession by Residents
On December 21, 2024, Suncity Township, Sector-54, Gurgaon, came alive with the vibrant celebration of the ‘Bhavya Kalash Shobhayatra’. Organized by the Suncity residents in collaboration with Gayatri Shaktipith, this event marked the beginning of a five-day Gayatri Mahayagna, a powerful spiritual practice aimed at fostering positivity and universal welfare.
The procession commenced at 10:00 AM from the Community Center and proceeded through the streets of Suncity, creating an aura of divine energy. The journey was adorned with sacred dance, music, and the chanting of Vedic mantras, filling the air with spiritual vibrations. The Kalash, a sacred pot symbolizing purity and prosperity, was the centerpiece of this grand procession, carried with devotion and reverence by participants.
The organizers extended a heartfelt invitation to all, particularly mothers and sisters, to participate in this auspicious event. It was more than a religious gathering; it was a celebration of community, unity, and shared spiritual aspirations, seeking to promote goodwill, eliminate negativity, and foster collective welfare for all beings.
The second day of this auspicious event saw the Gayatri Mahayagya, Rangoli Making and Fancy Dress Show, held on 22nd December 2024 at 10:30 AM. Themed around Hindu Mythological Characters, the event saw enthusiastic participation from children aged 5 to 14, who brought to life the stories of revered deities with their creative costumes and spirited performances.
The event aimed to instill cultural values and celebrate India’s rich mythological heritage among young minds. Each participant received attractive gifts as a token of appreciation, making it a delightful experience for all. The event successfully fostered a sense of community and cultural pride.
Combining this with the Kalash Shobha Yatra held a day prior, the weekend was a celebration of traditions and togetherness. The community’s efforts in organizing such events reflect their commitment to cultural preservation and the involvement of the younger generation.
