On Sunday, 9 March, residents of Tower 28 and Tower 29 at Lotus Boulevard organized a heartwarming community event under the banner Hamari Duniya. The event featured a food distribution (bhandara) where house helpers were served meals at just Rs. 5 per plate. In addition, clothes were distributed at a nominal rate of Rs. 10 per article, and fresh bed sheets were made available for Rs. 30 each. The generosity continued with the distribution of sanitary pads and dusting powder to support the community female helpers by NGO Hamari Duniya. A health camp was also organized, where Dr. Nusrat Nabi and I conducted basic medical check-ups for the residents, offering essential guidance on health and hygiene. We educated them on basic nutrition and the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices. The event was a great display of unity and compassion, showcasing the incredible efforts of the Lotus Boulevard residents.
