Beat the Plastic Challenge Encouraged Our Kids & Residents to Collect Clean & Dry Plastic

I am really happy to share with you once more that Public Welfare Foundation along with Green Park Extension RWA together were able to donate not only the target collection of clean and dry plastic waste of 100 kgs but went ahead and collected nearly 400 kgs of plastic waste for responsible disposal to bottles for change ‘Bisleri’ Bottles for Change a CSR activity.

For the month of May and June 2024 we had started the beat the plastic challenge where we encouraged our community kids and residents to collect 100kgs of clean and dry plastic. Our kids were super excited to be part of this initiative. The footfall at our booth at Gate No 13 Green Park definitely saw a hype in number of residents not only from our Green park colony but from Panchsheel, Safdarjung Enclave, Hauz Khas, South ex.

We would like to thank Dr Ruby Makhija from WWF (Why waste Wednesday) for introducing us to the NGO Bisleri Bottles for change for responsible disposal of plastic waste. A big thanks to our kids and residents who came forward to help us in this initiative. We want more and more residents to come forward and help us in this initiative and thus standing the possibility of clean and green environment. PWF also distributed cotton jute bags to all our residents as a token of appreciation.
