Basant Panchmi is the festival of Goddess Saraswati ,the Goddess of learning and art. Basant Panchmi also celebrates the arrival of the spring season. Sunshiners started the celebrations with Antakshri. Ladies were divided into groups of Albele and Dilwale and they sang their hearts out.
