Basant Panchami on 14th Feb is also Mandir sthapna divas and as such was celebrated joyously. Mandir was decorated with yellow flowers. All idols were in yellow attire. After havan at 1 pm, bhajans and dances were performed by the ladies who were also wearing yellow. At 5.30pm mouth watering assorted pakoras, kulcha chana and gajrela alongwith tea was served by mandir samiti. Mandir pradhan Sh. M L Chopra gave sweet yellow rice prashad and moti mala to all. Everyone prayed in front of Maa Sarsvati for samridhi and sadbudhi blessings.
