On 26 Jan, a program was organised by the United B-5 RWA in the B-5/B-2 park. The program was attended by more than 120 members of B-5 Block and started with Know your India Quiz conducted by Yogesh Mittal, followed by a remarkably interesting visualisation exercise led by Renu Mittal. Everyone was then asked what they can do for their country and some genuinely nice suggestions came up from the youngsters.
With the arrival of the Chief Guests, Somnath Bharti our MLA and Sarita Phogat MCD Councillor the lighting of the lamp, was accompanied by a lifting bhajan dedicated to Ma Saraswati by Shweta and Sneha Bhargava. It was followed by Inayat Kaur Bajaj who sang Vande Mataram along with playing the Cassio. Beena Bhargav sang a very touching song about soldiers who guard this nation.
Somnath Bharti addressed the gathering. The last item was a dance performance by ladies of B- 5 block, choreographed by Leela Rao. The guests enjoyed tea and snacks, and everyone appreciated the program. These colony programs build a community feeling, which is the commitment of the United B-5 RWA.
