Baisakhi was celebrated in a big way in Ridgewood. On Baisakhi Day senior ladies from the Path group did Ardaas and then distributed sweets and snacks to all Rahgiris on the main road between Galleria and Supermart. These Ridgewood ladies included Jaspal Kapoor, Shashi, Kukki Ji, Amarjeet Kaur, Gajinder, Neelam, Kailash, Harjinder and Vijay.
Earlier, on 9th April, RECA organised a grand Baisakhi Fest for all residents with some beautiful decorations with streamers running across the lawns and stalls offering a variety of things including Clothing, Art, Masalas and other edible items. Golgappas, Balloons were hit, desi ghee, Jewellery, newly designed bags to shop along and Tambola and children performances were the show stoppers.
Around 250 residents came and attended the event and enjoyed the festival within the Complex and avoided going out in crowds.
