Backlanes a Chronic Problem of New Friends Colony

Back lanes of the houses in New Friends Colony are like sore wounds. Despite the efforts, of the RWA, MCD and the various civic bodies the situation is as bad as ever.

There were instances of beautifying the Back lanes by painting the walls and growing greens. However, without the efforts of the residents the situation will not improve. It requires a daily effort on the part of the residents to consciously keep an eye on the Back lanes.

The staff needs to be kept under eagle’s eye, if kept unmonitored they don’t mind slipping in the daily waste.

Love for the neighbourhood and the desire to live in a clean and healthy environment can motive one to keep the surroundings clean.
