Almost eight years ago, Ayush, then 26, cleared his CA foundation. But instead of climbing the corporate ladder, he chose to follow his heart. He bid adieu to number-crunching and embarked on a journey to bring stories to life on the silver screen.
With no connections in Bollywood, Ayush Sharma started from scratch. He worked as an assistant director on popular shows like Yum Hai Hum, Porus, Chandragupt, and Ashoka on Sony Entertainment Television. He even contributed to the web series Escape Live on Disney Hotstar.
Through sheer hard work and determination, Ayush honed his craft, learning from every experience. Today, he’s proud to promote his own 10-minute short film in various festivals. Very recently his debut short movie received best film award in a prestigious film festival.
Ayush’s journey is a testament to his unwavering passion and resilience. From a CA aspirant to a filmmaker, he’s proven that with talent and grit, one can carve their own path in the competitive world of Bollywood. Way to go, Ayush! Your story is an inspiration to all who dare to dream big!
