On December 3, 2024, Karm Foundation organized a special camp at Carlton Estate 1 for senior citizens aged 70 years and above, aiming to assist them in registering for the Ayushman Bharat Medical Insurance Scheme.
The Ayushman Card is an important tool in providing access to affordable healthcare for underprivileged families and individuals. Under this initiative, senior citizens can avail themselves of free or heavily subsidized medical treatment at both public and private hospitals across India.
A total of 38 residents participated in the event and successfully enrolled, securing their future healthcare needs under this vital government scheme.
