Awareness for C/D Block Houses Facing BRT Road

There have been many instances of unknown people roaming in the back lane and in the front lane hiding behind the BSES Unit. As soon as I sent my guard to check, the person fled away. After a few days, I noticed a big cardboard sheet of 5’’ kept in my back lane which has an iron grill on the fencing. The grill is almost 17ft in height to cover the sharp edges on both sides of grill. I have to put an extra light in the back lane to keep a check of unwanted people hovering around. In another incident three persons were questioned for roaming around as late as1.30 am in the night but ran away on asking about their IDs. Please check your doors and windows and keep them locked always. Be more careful, cautious, and vigilante about security.

This was reported by a lady residing in C-4 who has experienced several attempts by the thieves to break into her house. These houses that are on the peripheral road of Panchsheel Enclave are vulnerable to such break-ins. There have been cases of mobile snatching and mobile thefts of labour and staff living and sleeping in the stilt parking areas. The security at Gate No.1 and 2 is insufficient and a sound security system needs to be in place. A thorough combing of the area in the night should be done and gates should be kept locked.
