Awaaz Group Appeals to MLA Rao Narbir Singh about DLF-2 Issues

Awaaz Group recently reached out to Rao Narbir Singh, Hon’ble MLA of Badshahpur and Minister of Industries & Commerce, with a series of appeals concerning pressing civic issues in their area. In letters submitted by the Aawaz Volunteers Group, the community highlighted concerns ranging from deteriorating infrastructure to unfulfilled promises of recreational facilities.

They called attention to critical infrastructure challenges, particularly the poor condition of footpaths. “Many footpaths are uneven, covered with mud, and unusable for pedestrians, especially senior citizens. People are forced to walk on roadways as a result, running the risk of getting into an accident with a speeding car,” said an Awaaz Volunteers Group official.

In order to promote improved cleanliness and pedestrian safety, the group has called for the prompt reconstruction of walkways using contemporary interlocking tiles.

With a growing population and S + 4 floors policy, civic issues are severely affected, such as water supply, sanitation, parks, illegal commercialization, etc. “We remain in constant touch with the service providers like DLF, MCG, GMDA, DTCP, and other departments for the betterment of the above civic amenities issues,” the group stated.

The long-promised recreational club for DLF Phase II, which had set aside 4.22 acres for fancy club facilities more than 30 years ago as part of the original project design, is another urgent concern brought up by the group. But at the moment, the site is used to store construction supplies, making it unsightly and providing mosquitoes with a place to breed.

Additionally, one of the letters expresses hope for Singh’s leadership and capacity to bring about significant change. The community expressed confidence that, with the support of Haryana’s government, their grievances will be addressed promptly. Residents are waiting for their concerns to be addressed and hope that prompt action will be taken to keep their neighborhood a safe and appealing place to live.
