The menace of petty thefts still goes unabated in the colony keeping the colony guards and police busy throughout the day and at night. There were three incidents reported last month:
In the first attempt was again made to steal things from the open temple in C block. In another incident a person tried to enter the house of a resident by putting the stairs lying in their garden. Thanks to the alert resident the person ran away without stealing anything.
In the third incident attempt was being made to steal the meter installed on the water pipeline passing our colony. As the guard was about to catch him he jumped in the nallah with the meter causing a massive leak which was later repaired.
All these incidents involved petty thieves and drug addicts. The incidents were reported to the police and corrective action is being taken.
