Atal Vatika stands as a shining example of the collective effort and commitment of the residents of A Block, Defence Colony. Initiated during the challenging times of COVID-19, when the entire nation was under lockdown, this park started as a modest endeavor and has since flourished into an eco-friendly green haven, offering peace and serenity to our community.
On 26th December 2024, we organized a special get-together at Atal Vatika, bringing together our residents to celebrate the festive week. The meet-up provided an opportunity to share our vision for maintaining the park and receive suggestions for future improvements. Special guests included Abhishek Dutt, who greatly supported Atal Vatika through his civic engagement, and Rohit Choudhury, who worked tirelessly on the installation of the park’s second edition of psychedelic lights. Many residents in the vicinity also contributed to the park’s upkeep.
