Diwali – the word that sparks joy in every Indian soul! Be it the festive nip in the air, the aroma of homemade food, the excitement of meeting your near and dear ones, de-votion to join hands in prayer, ignited empathy to help those in need – we all have a memory attached to this festival that is etched deep in our hearts. Being secular, we all celebrate this festival in different ways yet unite to bring in the love, light, and vigour that this festival brings!
This year too, the residents of Aspen Greens celebrated this festival with heightened fever. Festive decorations hung on the walls, and colourful rangolis brightened the floors. The streets lit up with the warm glow of bright lights, making the houses at Aspen Greens shimmer like stars falling from the sky. With green Diwali being a pivotal part of the celebrations, the residents of Aspen Greens took it upon themselves to lighten the sky with hot air lanterns.
Keeping up with the theme of compassion and making amends towards making everyone’s Diwali bright, the residents of Aspen Greens and Birch Court came together to collect a pool of funds for the support staff. The cash amounts were distributed by the senior citizens to the gardeners, security guards, and other support staff.
We hope you all had a very happy Diwali and the New Year brings you good health and prosperity!
