Arya Samaj, Vasant Vihar, celebrated Basant Panchami with great enthusiasm and zeal. The highlight of the event was the captivating song and dance performances by children from the Arya Samaj Vocational Centre and DAV School, Vasant Vihar.
The occasion also marked the launch of a dry ration collection drive, aimed at distributing essential items to the needy sections of society. Distribution of rations will commence on February 20.
Donations for participation in the ration distribution drive can be given at the Arya Samaj Centre, Vasant Vihar, in cash/ kind.
Sumit Duggal, Secretary, Arya Samaj Vasant Vihar Managing Committee, shared plans to introduce initiatives that impart the teachings of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, founder of Arya Samaj, to children. These initiatives aim to shape young minds and inspire them to become better human beings.
The celebrations concluded on a delightful note with the serving of traditional snacks and tea, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and community.
