The school Guru Nanak Garib Niwaj hosted an art exhibition by ART FOR ALL on 27th January. Art For All is an organisation that aims to provide artistic tools and platforms for people who do not have access to them, by fostering a world where art transcends barriers and enriches lives. Their aim is to focus on aiding underprivileged children without art supplies, championing visual arts and photography. This was their first art event-a charity art exhibition. This not only helped amateur artists gain a chance to show their artwork, photography, and creative side, but also helped in the collection of donations for the art department of the Public School.
“Every Child is an artist “ so said Pablo Picasso. Art is an expression of creativity and children need to be nurtured from an early age. They need all the encouragement and the tools to be able to express themselves through this medium. Creativity knows no bounds and the artist’s world is limitless. It is with this ideology that organisations like Art for All have come forward to bring to the fore the talent of unsung and unheard artists.
The event was a great success with over 25 participants sharing their work for a great cause and approximately 100 attendees throughout the day from different parts of Delhi.
