Arrival of ‘Spring’ in the Sector Parks

After a chilling long winter, the sun is out spreading its warmth all around. The little tiny buds residing inside the dormant plants are finally stretching out of their shell and blooming into colourful flowers, luscious green leaves and fragrant grass. Spring is here and brings a symphony of colors and fragrances to the sector transforming it into a haven of natural beauty and vibrant life. The prolonged chill will give more days to the bloom.

The green hubs of the sector, the parks have burst into bloom, painting the landscape with a kaleidoscope of hues. Red, blue, green, pink, all sorts of shapes and sizes of flora can be seen around the parks, their fragrance filling the atmosphere. Birds and squirrels can be seen hopping around the parks basking in nature’s beauty. The water fountains in the Central Park and the E5 Park serenade residents with the soothing sound of trickling water, their colourful and playful lighting enhancing the overall sensory experience.

Sector residents have dotted their homes with a variety of blooming flowers pots. One can spot a riot of colours along the edges of the individual houses. The apartment complexes have decorated their entrances with colourful pansies, marigold, dahlias, to name a few. These colours bring such a relief to the eye and mind as they are known to release ‘happy chemicals’ in the brain.

Spring brings a sense of liberation and joy after months of huddling indoors. It is a time for outdoor adventures, leisurely strolls through parks, and picnics amidst carpets of green grass. It is a time for gardening, as enthusiasts eagerly plant seeds and watch with anticipation as new life bursts forth from the soil. As we bid farewell to the frosty grip of winter and embrace the warmth of spring, let us pause to marvel at the wonders of the natural world and rejoice in the promise of new beginnings.

The noticeable point in this colouful mood, by the residents, is that the variety of flowers in the Central Park this year is not what used to be in the previous years.
