Organized for the first time ever, this event brought together families residing in apartments on a common platform with their dance and music. Again, given just a month’s time, residents
started their rehearsals with zeal and presented their choreographed dances in tastefully planned dresses. Eleven apartments participated in this event.
Antriksh Apt, F-Block, Sector 50, presented two dance performances, first by children and then the ladies, choreographed by Sunil Kumar and Kriti.
Amrapali Silicon City, Sector 76, children present a dance medley of Bollywood songs choreographed by Seema Sarkar.
Crescent Apt, F-Block, Sector 50, ladies and children, led by Kalpana Singh, presented a medley dance.
Elite Homz Apt, Sector 77, was represented by Elite Ki Dhadkan kids who performed a dance paying homage to Indian Armed Forces martyrs.
JM Orchid, Sector 76, presented two semi-classical kathak dances as a tribute to Late Shri Birju Maharaj, performed by Stuti and Devika and two children Ansuya and Ashlesha, choreography by Stuti Mehta.
Mahagun Maestro, F-Block, Sector 50, children presented a western group dance, Imperfectly Perfect, led by Harsimran Kaur.
Mahagun Manor Apt, F-Block, Sector 50, children presented a Bhangra Fok Dance choreographed by Srishti Singh Rawal.
Overseas Apt, F-Block, Sector 50 presented a medley capturing every decade of 100 years of Dance in Hindi cinema. Small children presented a group dance too.Shivkala Apartments, Sector 51, ladies presented a dance, Boundless, representing “Naari Shakti”, choreographed by Manisha Agarwal Sunshine Society’s Poppins presented a dance by their youngsters in the age group 65 to 80. Their lively dance infected the audience with joie de vivre and the spirit of living life to the fullest. Choreographed by Amanpreet Kaur, the dancers received a standing applause from the audience.
Stellar Kings Apt, Sector 50, children presented Bollywood Mashup, a medley dance performed on Bollywood songs, led by Raghav Nanda. One of the most popular events of the festival, we expect Apartment Group Dance Performances to be a certain crowd puller next year with more apartments participating.
