The celebration of Karva Chauth in ATS One Hamlet continues to be a significant and vibrant occasion, with several traditional customs and sometimes with a bit of modern twists.
As the day approached, women came together to make preparations. They collectively called for a henna artist to create intricate mehndi designs enhancing the festive spirit.
Throughout the day, the ladies engaged in various activities to keep themselves occupied. Around 4:30 PM, as the Sun began to set, dressed in their best attire, they congregated either in the amphitheatre or in their tower lobby for the Puja ritual.
Women exchanged Karva Chauth thalis as well as heartfelt blessings and wishes for a successful fast. This year, the ritual at the amphitheatre was conducted by Santosh Aunty (10111).
The moon’s appearance marked the end of the fast.
Overall, the celebration of Karwa Chauth was a beautiful blend of tradition and contemporary elements, strengthening the bonds of love and togetherness in our community.
