The AGM is an annual affair in every society with an objective to discuss the developments and hear residents’ suggestions and concerns. This year’s Espacia AGM was held on 15 January 2023 in the Club area.
It started with an address by Abhinav Kansal who highlighted the recent developments underway by the current AOA including the ATM machine which will be functional from February. A Kids’ Room is also under the works which will be operational very soon.
Later, the AGM was presided over by treasurer Chand Suri, Sangeeta Jain, and Mamta Aggarwal, who shared that 650 sprinklers for horticulture and CCTV cameras have been installed in the basement. An Apollo clinic to help the residents diagnose their health problems and a lounge area to relax are there.
Residents applauded all the work done by the current AOA members and raised some of their concerns like the Registration of Towers 37 & 38 which is yet to be resolved; leakages and sewage problems due to which there is a lot of stink; and stocking up of water in basements.
Another major point raised was the temple construction, that has been made temporarily at the entry gate. The AOA asked residents to provide a proper layout and map for their approval while they try and find a place for the same.
Other concerns raised have also been taken into consideration and promised to be taken care of ASAP. Later, residents were asked to come forward and give their names for the next election committee. Some of the residents who came forward and volunteered were Lt. Gen. P S Bhalla, Com. Gopal Hari Saxena, DIG S K Tyagi, Dr. Ajit Sodhi and Pawan Ghavri.
