NOFAA conducted its annual GBM on 25 June at 6 pm at the Omaxe Twin Towers, Sector 50. The meeting was attended by AOA Presidents and Secretaries and founder members of over 40 high-rise societies. Also, the entire NOFAA board of management along with Secretary General, Prof Rajesh Sahay and Patrons attended the GBM.
The discussions were primarily on:
- Builder–buyer issues which are primarily registries and handing over. Briefing members on the representation and meeting with the Chief Minister, UP.
- Implementation of UP Apartment Act in its true sense in all high rise societies. Discussions on amendments needed in the model bylaws, and taking it forward with public representatives and administration.
- Structural audits policy and taking it forward to all high rise societies jointly. Amendments which may needed in the policy.
- The latest order of CAQM on DG usage (from 1st October 23) and how much are the high-rise societies prepared to implement the same. Idea was to form a committee to address the same.
- Quality of drinking water, participation in cleanliness and environment-related drives and related community activities.
- Views were exchanged on cluster-based SWM
- Common issues of lift, swimming pool certification, fire safety, etc.
