Members of Senior Citizens Forum Prateek Wisteria celebrated annual day of the Forum on 9April 2023 with a colourful and entertaining variety program.
Nazish Zaidi was the guest of honour during the program.
Program started with recitation of Hanuman Chalisa by the members, lighting of lamp and Ganesh Vandana by the ladies. This was followed by welcome address by president of Forum J. P. Mathur.
Next Dr. N. K. Berry recited his self composed poem highlighting the role of Forum in the lives of members and invited Nanak Chand Rangani and Harpal Singh to felicitate the members who celebrated their birthday and marriage anniversary in the month of March 2023. They also felicitated the new members of the Forum.
Before General Secretary of Forum Shri J.P.Gupta presented annual report to the house, members enjoyed a group song presented jointly by the gents and ladies.
After the annual report president Shri Mathur honoured the special guest of the day Nazish Zaidi, Coordinating editor Samavada who also appreciated the activities of Forum.
This was followed by honouring of following Super Senior citizens of Prateek Wisteria;
Dina Nath Chhabra, A. P. Agrawal,Suresh Lal, S. k. Mathur, Dr. H. B. Popli and Suman Gupta
Next the house again enjoyed a group song which was followed by felicitation and honouring of the AOA management team.
Ramesh Bindlish highlighted the numerous good works done and efforts being made by the AOA team. A few of them being cleanliness, garden maintenance greenery in the complex, recovery of outstanding from the builder, construction of ramp at gate no.3 etc.
Forum also felicitated two of its members – Vir Bhan Sood and Shashi Sharma who were honoured by the Govt. agencies for their exemplary work. Next the winners and participants in the slogan competition were awarded prizes. Program ended with vote of thanks by M. C. Singhal which was followed by a sumptuous dinner. In between house was entertained by the duet songs presented by the members.
Highlight of the day was anchoring of the program by Dr. N. K. Berry who kept the audience spellbound and glued to their seats.
