New Year’s eve celebration is the initiation of freshness in almost every sphere of life. The excitement to celebrate the eve is present everywhere and people wait for it as it is all about fresh starts and looking towards the future with optimism!
Anand Niketan Club celebrated New Year’s eve with its members and their guests in style this year by organizing a gala event to signal the end of a chapter in 2022 and the beginning of a new one in 2023.
The evening was celebrated very enthusiastically and in high spirits at the lawns, decorated artistically with marigolds and fairy lights. The club building and trees in front were illuminated for the occasion. The whole atmosphere was mesmerizing with Cabanas in bright colours making the ambience extremely vibrant. A subtle colored pleated ceiling and gas heaters were added to make it cosy and comfortable for the members and guests. Entry was restricted by means of tickets to members and their guests.
The celebrations for the end of the year started at 8.00 pm and got to full swing at around 10 o’clock. Members of all ages with their friends and family members danced to the pulsating music by the DJ in attendance, to usher in New Year. Just before hands of the clock overlapped each other, the guests were handed over Caps, Blow Horns, Whistles, Eye masks by the Hony. Secretary & other Executive Members of the Club. The Joining of hands of the clock was welcomed by the full house amidst blowing of whistles, “tooting” of horns & shrieks of youngsters and old alike. Members welcomed 2023 with lots of pleasure, hopes, excitement and were seen hugging and wishing their friends and family members profusely. People were in real high spirits and the breeze of celebrations lasted for some more time. Members relished the unlimited snacks and sumptuous buffet dinner. Some brands of IMFL were offered at huge discounts.
Hony. Secretary of the club was seen wishing each of the staff members personally along with posing for pictures with them, thus capturing memories of what can be called an extremely warm evening. The gesture filled their hearts with joy. He reminded them ‘to be grateful for the past, find joy in the present and remain excited for the future’’ and was also heard telling them that in the next year everyone needs to work harder to take the Club to newer heights and make it “The Best” in Delhi, NCR.
