Anand Lok:Drains desilted

Open Storm water drains behind house number 55 to 59 and in front of house number 61-68 were cleaned manually by removing the drain covers in the month of may. The malba was also removed by MCD. But placing back the drain cover took time and some got broken in the cleaning process and as such need to be replaced. Replacement of the drain covers took a few weeks as well causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents. The Drains around the park no1 in front of house number 30-34 and house number 50-54 were paved so were cleaned by MCD using a machine. This procedure was fast and the malba was also removed by MCD. We would appeal to our MLA and Municipal Councilor to please get the balance drains around both the parks also paved.
