The Anand Lok Halloween Walk on October 27, 2024, was a magical evening that brought laughter and excitement to the entire neighborhood. Organized with love and dedication, the event gave the kids of Anand Lok a chance to don their spooky costumes and revel in the spirit of Halloween.
Gathering at the big park at 4:30 PM, approximately 15 little witches and wizards set off for their annual Halloween adventure. Their costumes ranged from creepy to adorable, and their joy was infectious. Ms Esha Sharma, who played a key role in planning the event, received heartfelt appreciation for her thoughtful decision to hold the walk before Diwali, ensuring that the festivities didn’t overlap.
The Halloween spirit truly came alive as the kids went door to door, chanting “trick or treat!” to eager residents who welcomed them with bowls of candy and playful smiles. At 5:30 PM, the little ones gathered at one resident’s first floor for some extra special treats, adding a delightful stop to their evening journey.
The involvement of Anand Lok’s Super Senior Citizens was a heartwarming highlight, as they watched the parade of costumed kids with beaming faces. The interaction between the younger generation and their elders added a layer of warmth to the spooky celebration, reminding everyone of the joy that comes from a tight-knit community.
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of participating houses, who made the trick-or-treating experience memorable for the children. Their willingness to open their doors and join in the fun was deeply appreciated.
As one resident beautifully expressed, it was a joy to see the kids’ boundless enthusiasm and the happiness that their laughter brought to all. A big thank you to Ms Esha and everyone who contributed to making the Anand Lok Halloween Walka spooktacular success!
